Another Christmas – they are definitely coming faster! 2024 has been a challenging year for us. Paul had a stroke at the beginning of August. Thanks to the team at Forth Valley hospital and the extra physio work he has had from Emma at SimpsonPhysio he has made a very good recovery. In fact 9 weeks after his stroke we even were able to join our son Richard and his girlfriend on a Mediterranean cruise! Paul was determined to make this as it was a very special event arranged by Richard’s company as a thank you to all their staff and their families. I really believe it helped Paul’s recovery and we had a wonderful time.
Paul has resumed his role as Councillor at Stirling Council and hopes to be back at his regular Sunday book-signing at the Chatelherault Market in the Spring. Last week one of his readers told us that she had just watched Royals in Wartime on Channel 5 and was surprised to see Paul taking about his time serving with Prince Chales.
